Newsletter

Dear Parents and Carers,

I write to share the link to this week's newsletter and to give details of the transition event we have planned in school for Thursday 1st July 2021.

Giving our pupils the chance to meet their new teachers and spend some time in their new classrooms is hugely important and something that we were only able to do partially last year.

On Thursday 1st July 2021, all pupils will start the day by going straight to their new classrooms.

  • Classes will keep the same timings for drop off and pick up.

  • School meals will remain the same.

  • Classrooms will be cleaned before and after the transition day.

  • Pupils will return to their usual classes on Friday 2nd July until the end of term.

  • Year 6 will spend the day in the IT suite with Miss Bryan and Mrs Goddard and should use the Y3/4 main entrance.

Pupils will spend the transition day getting to know their new teachers, and support staff, by completing a range of activities.

Please see below the details of class teachers from September 2021.

Miss. Oddy will be working in school for 2 days next year. She will be teaching Year 3 one day a week and supporting this class at other times, as well as teaching Year 6 for an afternoon.

Mrs. Goddard will be working in school 3 days next year and will be teaching in Reception and supporting classes throughout school.

Mrs. Joul and Mrs. Cartwright will continue to teach across a range of classes to cover PPA and management time.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of staffing, please contact us.

Kind regards,

James Clay
