Key Stage 2 Teacher - September 2024

JOB OVERVIEW 

 

Maternity cover role for Key Stage 2 class teacher for September 2024. 

At Manston Primary School, we are looking for an engaging and dynamic teacher to teach a Key Stage 2 class. This post would be ideal for an ECT or experienced teacher. We are looking for a teacher who plans and delivers lessons while successfully nurturing and inspiring our students. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success, while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).  

  • An Honours Degree.  

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:  

  • Passion and enthusiasm for their role.  

  • Good knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery; knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessments would be advantageous.  

  • High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • The ability to work as a team.  

  • The ability to work towards deadlines.  

  • The ability to motivate pupils.  

  • High levels of personal motivation and enthusiasm.  

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.  

  • The skills to design fun and engaging lessons for pupils.  

  • Strong IT skills.
