School Milk Registration Information

School Milk

We have chosen Fresh Pastures Limited, t/a School Milk UK, to supply our school milk from the start of the new term. If you would like your child to receive milk at school, you can register online at www.schoolmilkuk.co.uk. If you opt into this scheme, your child will receive a 189ml carton of fresh chilled semi-skimmed milk each school day, to drink mid-morning. The cost of this milk depends on the number of school days in each term (accounting for inset days, bank holidays and school holidays) and is payable in advance prior to each half term, or you can pay for the full academic year in advance. You can pay for your child’s milk online using PayPal or a credit or debit card in four easy steps. Please visit the School Milk UK website at www.schoolmilk.co.uk for details on how this scheme works and how to register, order, pay and manage your account online.

Please note that under The Nursery Milk Scheme, children do not pay for milk until their fifth birthday. Free milk also applies to any child who qualifies for free school meals. If you feel your child is eligible please visit Leeds City Council website for more information.

If you would like your child to continue to receive milk until their fifth birthday, or if your child qualifies for free school meals and you would like them to receive milk please let me know as soon as possible.

Please do register your child with School Milk UK as soon as possible to ensure your child continues to have fresh milk daily.  If your child qualifies for free school meals and you would like them to have free milk, please let me know via email at: amanda.milner@manston.leeds.sch.uk

Many thanks,

Golden Table

Each week the lunchtime staff select children who displayed impeccable manners and excellent behaviour during lunchtime to join Mr Clay for lunch. All children selected receive a certificate in recognition of this during our achievement assemblies.

As a healthy school, children are encouraged to bring a named water bottle into school should they be thirsty throughout the day. Water is also readily available from dispensers around school to replenish water bottles.
