Food is locally sourced, presented and served to appeal to young children. All meals are freshly prepared on site each day in the school kitchen, providing an innovative and well balanced diet for your child. We always have a salad bar option along with vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Please notify us if your child does have any special dietary requirements and we will do our utmost to accommodate them.
Illness/medical appointments
If your child has a medical appointment and will be attending school later in the morning and require lunch, please let your class teacher and Mrs Milner know in advance by letter. Your child can then be included in the daily figures to the kitchen.
KS2
If you child attends school and is taken home ill on a morning before 10.30am a charge for lunch will not be made. After this time - daily figures will have been submitted to the kitchen and a charge will be made.
Golden Table
Each week the lunchtime staff select children who displayed impeccable manners and excellent behaviour during lunchtime to join Mrs Quick for lunch. All children selected receive a certificate in recognition of this during our achievement assemblies.
WATER
As a healthy school, children are encouraged to bring a named water bottle into school should they be thirsty throughout the day. Water is also readily available from dispensers around school to replenish water bottles.
