Y1 visit to Lotherton Hall

This event will take place between 9:00am and 3:00pm on 09/07/2025

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are excited to announce a school trip to Lotherton Hall for Year 1 pupils. This educational visit is scheduled for Wednesday 9th July 2025 and will include a workshop on Nocturnal Animals. We believe this experience will greatly enrich our students' learning and provide them with a memorable day. We will be leaving after the morning register and will be returning before the end of the school day.

The cost of the trip will be £11 which covers the coach transport, access to the bird garden and grounds as well as the animal workshop. Payments and consent should be made through Arbor. The window for this will be open on Friday 6th June 2025 and will close on Friday 27th June 2025. If you need any assistance with this, please speak to me or a member of staff in the office.

Please note that whilst this is a voluntary contribution, the cost of the trip has been worked out with every child paying the full amount. Unfortunately, if there are insufficient funds to pay for the trip then we may not be able to go ahead with this visit. Please see Mrs Millington if you are having difficulty making the payment.

All children will need:

  • a refillable water bottle
  • a packed lunch*
  • a light coat, trainers, and a small rucksack to carry their things.
  • a sun hat and suncream – weather dependent.

*If you would like school to provide your child with a packed lunch, please let us know by Wednesday 25th June so that the kitchen has sufficient time to prepare for this.

Thank you for your cooperation and support. We are looking forward to a wonderful day at Lotherton Hall with your child.

Yours sincerely,

Lucy Millington
