Monday 21st January
Please to remind you that parents are responsible for their child and their behaviour before school starts, and until the bell is rung at 8.50am. For your information playing ball is not permitted before school because of the presence of grown- ups and pushchairs, and the MUGA is out of use until playtime for supervision reasons. Thank you for your support with this.
Thank you to those children in Years 5 / 6 who went to sing at Tesco’s just before Christmas. They collected £83 for school funds – which was very helpful.
Parental consultations will take place on the afternoon and evening of the Training Day on Monday 4th February.
Please book your slot via the attached link. Thank you.
The Attendance Governors met last week to discuss the attendance of the school. They were delighted with Pavo class who managed 100% attendance last week, but noted that there are still far too many children with attendance below 90%. Please be aware that if your child’s attendance falls below 90%, then the government will classify your child as a persistent absentee. If an absence is unavoidable then please let the school know either by e-mail or telephone. Thank you.
Attached to this newsletter is our annual parental survey, which we would be very grateful if you would kindly complete (A paper copy will be sent home today). NB One survey per household is fine. Thank you.
PS Please remember that it is your responsibility to let us know of any changes of address or phone numbers. Thank you.
