Monday 19th March

Dear Parents,

School Residential

My sincere thanks to Ms Roxby, Miss Racster, Mrs Hall and Mr Taylor who took many of Year 5 and 6 children on a three day residential to Bewerley Park and gave up family life for two evenings. The children had an amazing time canoeing, shelter building, and gorge walking, along with many other outdoor activities. The weather was rather wet for much of the trip, but I’m told that they still got stuck in and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. If you are interested the photos are on the website on the “Gallery” page.

School Uniform

Please to remind you that school uniform MUST be worn unless we are having a non- uniform day. Jeans – blue or black are not permitted. Likewise hair bows or hair clips should be of a reasonable size and in school colours – grey, white or dark blue. Thank you for your co-operation.

Mobile Phones

Only Years 5 and 6 children who have to walk to and from home alone are permitted to bring their mobile phone to school. They must then be handed into the office to be locked away until the end of the day. Children who come to school with an adult have no need for this facility and should leave their phone at home. Thank you.
